Private Mooring Licence Information
An experienced and fully insured Mooring company like Alkira Marine Services is recommended by Maritime to install your Mooring Apparatus to ensure the safety of your vessel and other property on the water. We use new quality fittings only and ensure your Mooring Apparatus is capable of securely holding your vessel in the worst conditions. Alkira is fully insured and we only use qualified personnel.
Cost for the purchase, installation and servicing of the Mooring Apparatus is the responsibility of the Mooring licensee. Failure to maintain your Mooring Apparatus with an annual service, keeping it in good condition may result in Mooring failure and set the vessel adrift with expensive consequences. Penalties may apply by NSW Maritime.
On cancellation of your Mooring Licence, the licensee is responsible for removing the Apparatus from the seabed.
